Hope in the Night 11-28-2024 Rejection

Janis says that her mother apparently did not want her and used her as “arm candy.” She gave Janis to the grandparents, who were Godly people. Her grandmother died at Christmas 1995, and asked Janis to make amends with her mother. She tried, but then they did not speak for 9 years except through lawyers, which is when she became an alcoholic. She has been sober for 35 yrs, and her mother is still critical. Janis wants to honor her as she is dying with Alzheimer’s.
