More About the Webinar
In celebration of the launch of its new Lifeline to Hope self-study course, Hope for the Heart will host a free webinar to provide details about these new lay caregiving resources – valuable tools to help individuals impact their church and community, and to grow personally and professionally.
“As stress and challenges continue to rise, especially in light of the ongoing pandemic, there’s such an urgent need for proper self-care and to provide support and care to the many people in our churches, communities, places of work, and even in our own families and circle of friends,” said Dr. Eric Scalise, creator of the course and Hope for the Heart’s senior vice president and chief strategy officer. “People everywhere are struggling with fear, worry, grief, loneliness, isolation, depression, suicidal thoughts, addictions, relational conflicts, and more.”
The free webinar will be held Thursday, December 16, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. CST. It will be hosted by Dr. Scalise and Haley Scully, Hope for the Heart’s senior director of strategic and international operations, and co-course instructor. The webinar will cover the Lifeline to Hope suite of products, including:
- The new Self-Study Video Course on lay caregiving
- The comprehensive Group Training course for churches and organizations
- The Topical Training Videos
“We are excited to help potential participants understand the unique value of Lifeline and the impact it can have on them and their churches and communities,” Scully said. “We want people to know how they can incorporate the Lifeline resources into their personal life as well as their church and ministry, and we’ll conclude with a time of Q&A to answer specific questions anyone might have.”
