I started out in consumer products many years ago.  I reported to a manager who asked me to do some things that were not only unethical, but illegal. It came to a point when I knew God was calling me to make a decision. I also knew that once I made that decision, I better find another job or career very quickly.

At that point, I started a nonprofit ministry developing disciples during short-term mission trips. There have been times when we had to fully humble ourselves at the feet of the Lord and say, “Hey, what would you have me do here?” You get to a point where you are just kind of self-absorbed. Then you turn it around, look at Scripture, and continue to seek the Lord. When there is no other hope that you can find in this world, persevere, get into God’s Word, pursue the Lord, ask Him, seek Him – He’ll open the doors. Complete dependence on Him delivers everything you are looking for.
