Hope For The Heart recently received the NRB Radio Impact Award on February 21 at the National Religious Broadcasters 2012 Convention & Exposition.
“June Hunt and Hope for the Heart have provided scriptural answers to the tangled problems of hurting people through her radio program and her counseling courses,” said NRB President and CEO Dr. Frank Wright. “Now with the Hope Center, she has enabled numerous other ministries to collectively advance the cause of Christ even wider and further than before.”
Hope For The Heart Founder, CEO and CSO June Hunt is one of the world’s leading biblical counselors. Her life’s work has yielded landmark contributions to the field of Christian counseling. The ministry offers biblical hope and practical help – through biblical counsel, the Bible and prayer – in more than 60 countries on 6 continents. In 2010 June realized her vision of a permanent home for 44 nonprofit Christian ministries – each with a shared commitment to stewardship, synergy and service – when she founded the Hope Center. Individuals can now receive walk-in counseling from trained staff at Hope For The Heart, the Hope Center’s anchor tenant.
The NRB Radio Impact Award is presented to a person, station, program, network or ministry that has illustrated over time a consistent and unique impact within the Christian radio industry, and/or to the body of Christ as a whole.
