When selfishness and pride got the best of me, I didn’t know it, but it was hurting my husband, my family and myself.
Previously, my identity had been in my job and what I could achieve on my own. But when I lost that job, it all came crashing down around me. Had it not been for my daughter, who shared Christ with me, I would not have learned that my identity should not be in myself or in my job, but in Him. I learned that Christ loves me just the way I am, flaws and all.
